Phoenix v Sapphire Inter Club competition December 2008
As always this was a really good competition. The standard throughout the competition was very high and was a credit to both teams. This competition is also a team competition and at the end we regained the team trophy from Sapphire by the narrow margin of 177.55 points against 175.95.

Southern Region Championships (Part 1) November 2008
Due to the changes in competition grades, this year's Regional Championships was split into two weekends with the main part to be held in December. This part included elite and FIG levels only. We had two tumblers who competed at Elite level (unfortunately Archie was ill and could not take part). Both tumblers took gold medals!
